FIZ Lens Data System

This was an R&D project undertaken in my first semester of my MSc - Virtual Production at the Academy of Live Technology.

The prototype system displayed here makes use of the Canon Broadcast protocol from Canon Lenses passed through a Raspberry Pi, translated via Python code and output as OSC into Disguise which then controls the virtual camera in UE.

 

Acting as a FIZ calibration system without any physical rotary encoders on the camera rig.
